Window Paintings

I started doing window paintings in 2023 for Dashi-a restaurant I used to manage at. I was lucky enough that they let me take creative control, which helped me grow my skills in illustration and painting. Window paintings are designed to be temporary, so I would do different paintings for each major holiday/season. The process of doing a window painting is very easy-you outline your drawing (I use a POSCA pen), then fill it in with white indoor latex paint. This layer of paint allows you to easily scrape the paint off the window. Then you paint over with the chose colors-I use Liquitex Basics acrylic paint. I usually outline the finished products with either a white or black POSCA pen!
